ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Prepare to look to the skies as the National Warplane Museum’s Airshow takes flight over Geneseo!

The highlight of this year’s air show includes the return of the F22 Demo Team, but there are also performances utilizing bombers, heavys, fighter planes, trainers, and even aircraft from World War 2.

The sky isn’t the only stage for performers — the air show also has entertainment on the ground. There will be war reenactors and performances from military vehicles. The line-up for ground performers will be shared at a later date.

The air show takes place from Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14. However, Friday is reserved for members only. Gates to the show open Friday at 10 a.m., Saturday at 8:30 a.m., and Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

The exact flight schedule for each day is not released until the pilot’s briefing. Planes are expected to fly on Friday around 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are two types of tickets available for guests — general admission or tailgate. These can be purchased on the air show’s website.
