    Delightful homemade oat yogurt

    Create your own delicious homemade oat yogurt with this simple and dairy-free recipe. You don't need any special cultures to make this gluten-free treat.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups of oats
    • 4 cups of water
    • 1 tablespoon of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother

    Instructions:

    In a bowl, combine 2 cups of oats and 4 cups of water. Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon, and cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let the oats soak in the water for at least one hour.

    Transfer the oat mixture to a blender and blend for 2 to 4 minutes.

    Strain the oats over a saucepan using cheesecloth or a sieve, saving the strained oats for other recipes.

    Cook the oat milk over medium-low heat in the saucepan until it thickens, stirring almost constantly. Once the oat milk reaches your desired thickness, remove the pan from the heat. Allow your yogurt to cool.

    Scoop the oat yogurt into another container and add 1 tablespoon of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother. Stir well.

    Note:

    The mother in apple cider vinegar is a probiotic blend of bacteria and yeasts. You can choose not to use the apple cider vinegar in the yogurt if you prefer not to add probiotics.

    Feel free to add fruit or sweetener to the yogurt if desired. Enjoy your homemade oat yogurt!
