Budget airline launches new flight connecting California mega-regions; Tickets go on sale for $39

Spirit Airlines has introduced a new daily flight service connecting Hollywood-Burbank Airport to San Jose Mineta International Airport, offering passengers a budget-friendly travel option between Southern California and Silicon Valley. Launched on Wednesday, the direct flights are available at an introductory price of $39 one way for trips between Sept. 25 and Nov. 19, subject to availability.

"We’re thrilled our California Guests can now enjoy an elevated travel journey on our new nonstop service between San Jose and Burbank," said John Kirby, Spirit’s Vice President of Network Planning.

This marks Spirit’s fourth direct route out of Burbank, alongside flights to Las Vegas, Oakland, and Sacramento.
