Grand opening event, Second Chance Surplus in Cloquet

A brand new, one-of-a-kind, store is opening next to Dead On Arms!

6552 Hwy 2 Cloquet, MN 55720 on 14 Sept, 2024 Second Chance Surplus will be officially opening its doors to the public for the first time. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion and to experience the unique selection of military surplus, survival gear, prepper essentials, knives, swords, patches, and more firsthand. The event will start at 9am at 6552 Hwy 2 (next door to Dead On Arms).

The grand opening includes dog tags with the SCS logo to the first 50 customers, gear giveaways, snacks and drinks, and a spin to win discount prize wheel! Scott Savage from KQDS radio will be broadcasting live from 10am-noon from the event.

“We are excited to offer the Northland a selection of items that have not been available for purchase locally for many years,” said owners Candi Feiro and Kyle Allen “we have had a lot of great feedback from our soft opening this last month and look forward to serving the area with all of their surplus, prepper, and survival needs.”

Second Chance Surplus is your one stop shop for all of your military surplus, camping, and survival gear.

“We are looking forward to our grand opening on September 14th and having regular open hours for the future.” said Candi and Kyle. “We will be open Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm and Sundays 11am-5pm.”

We are a majority woman owned business who has partnered with various military supply companies to provide our local community with their ranks and patches as well as selling decommissioned military gear to the public. We are always on the hunt for new varieties of military gear, both foreign and domestic. SCS also carries a variety of functional and decorative knives and swords, flags, hats, and camping gear.
