The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued an endangered persons advisory on Friday night at the request of the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office after 23-year-old Martha Unger and her daughters, Madilynn Grace Unger, 2, and Haylie Faith Unger, 1, disappeared. Unger and her daughters were reported missing from their rural Haskell County home just before 7 p.m. Friday. Haskell County is located in southwest Kansas, about 200 miles west of Wichita.

Authorities believe Martha Unger is driving a 2015 white Ford Explorer with the Kansas tag Kansas tag 301RJY. She is about 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Both girls have blonde hair and blue eyes.

“Investigators believe they may have been coerced to travel to Mexico to a religious rehabilitation facility with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen.” KBI said.

Corney Klaasen is 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, cops say. He is clean shaven and last known wearing jeans and a button-up shirt, according to cops. The Klaasen’s may be driving a white and black Chevy Blazer bearing a Mexico tag.

“Investigators wish to check the welfare of Martha and her children,” KBI said.

Cops haven’t released any additional information.

Anyone who sees Unger and her daughters and/or the Klassen’s are asked to call 911. People with any other information about this case, please call the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office at 620-675-2289.
