It has been said that the history of New Port Richey is the history of Gulf High School. This is not surprising since the founding of Gulf High School in 1922 predates the incorporation of the city in 1924. And many, if not most, of the influential people who helped develop the city of New Port Richey were Gulf High students or parents of Gulf High students.

ROCHESTER, NY -- Alexus King of Holiday has graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in ASL-English interpretation. Nearly 4,500 degrees were conferred in the 2023-2024 academic year at all of RIT's campuses. RIT's academic convocation celebration was held in May and featured remarks by Patricia "Pattie" Moore, a distinguished designer and trailblazing alumna of the class of 1974.
