HOLLAND — After weeks of preparation and rehearsal, the Holland Community Theatre is preparing for the opening night of “Finding Nemo Jr." — an hour-long family-friendly adaptation of Pixar’s 2003 movie.
The production has music by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the award-winning team behind Disney’s "Frozen."
Thirty-three children between the ages of 8 and 13 years old are involved in the production, director Sandra Griffin told The Sentinel.
“People should come out and see these performances because ... there is nothing like the experience of live theater, and to be in the room with that excitement, and the fun, and to support these kids who have worked so hard to become these characters and present them to people," Griffin told The Sentinel.

Griffin said people will leave the theater with songs stuck in their heads.
“Finding Nemo Jr.” performances will be held Friday-Saturday, July 5-6, and Wednesday-Saturday, July 10-13, at 7 p.m. — with additional matinee performances held at 2 p.m. Saturdays, July 6 and 13. Visitors attending the July 5 performance will be invited to stick around after the show for an ice cream social.
