With a budding star at quarterback, the Indianapolis Colts offense is hoping to earn more respect around the NFL.

Head coach Shane Steichen showed some immense promise as a play-caller and offensive mind in his first season despite working with a backup quarterback for the majority of the campaign.

Now, with Richardson a full-go for training camp, the Colts will be looking to enter the upper echelon of offenses.

In the eyes of NFL.com's Gennaro Filice , the Colts are already being slept on as a potential top-10 offense in the league.

Filice ranked the Colts as the 10th-best offense going into the new season, ahead of units like the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

Filice noted that the Colts already had a borderline top-10 offense in 2023 when Gardner Minshew was the quarterback. Getting a full season out of Anthony Richardson should only bring about more optimism.

He also noted, though, that Richardson's health is the biggest concern for the offense. This falls in line with the narrative most view surrounding the Colts in 2024.

Steichen has proven he has an innovative mind when it comes to running an offense. How high the Colts will go will depend primarily on Richardson's development.
