Any concerns over Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson's injury status have finally been put to rest.

Richardson, who suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in 2023, looked like he had potentially regressed with his injury at minicamp. He didn't participate at practice on June 6, and Colts coach Shane Steichen said the 22-year-old quarterback experienced "some soreness" in his shoulder.

Granted, Steichen also said Richardson could have played that week if the team had a game, but his initial comments indicated the second-year quarterback still wasn't 100 percent.

Deiric Jackson, Richardson's agent, ended to those concerns by posting a video of Richardson on a basketball court doing a reverse windmill dunk.

How many quarterbacks in the NFL can pull something like that off?

Richardson is one of the most athletically gifted players ever under center. More importantly, he wouldn't be pulling that kind of dunk off if his shoulder wasn't at least close to 100 percent.

Not having a full rookie season puts Richardson in an interesting position in his second year. In some ways, it could be looked at as a do-over rookie year.

He's going to have to learn on the fly as he adjusts to football at the next level. In five games last season, Richardson threw for 577 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, while also rushing for 136 yards and four touchdowns.

That dunk proved he's not only ready for the regular season, but he'd also be ready for the 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest if they offered him an invite.
