Kate Martin's Three-Word Response to Caitlin Clark's WNBA All-Star Announcement Speaks Volumes

Former Iowa Hawkeyes teammates Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin have kept their tight-knit bond intact, despite them currently living across the country from one another.

Both Clark and Martin have come out saying that they keep in constant touch, speaking on a daily basis about everything from their pregame outfits to their WNBA box scores.

Out of the dynamic duo, only Clark was selected to the WNBA All-Star Game; which meant that Martin got a few extra days on her month-long Olympics break, that she spent in Boston with her girlfriend.

But that didn't keep Martin from commenting a wholesome message to Clark's recent Instagram photo collage commemorating her All-Star Game success.

Martin made waves on social media for commenting, "First of many" on Clark's Instagram post.

While just about everybody expected Clark would eventually make it to a WNBA All-Star Game, far fewer predicted that she'd do so in her rookie season.

Yet, considering all of the support Martin has shown Clark over the years, we imagine she wasn't surprised about Clark's selection (and ensuing performance) at all.

Perhaps Martin will be joining Clark at an All-Star Game in the coming years.
