Less hot weather on tap as we close out August

Hello everyone!

The ridiculously hot weather as of late with temperatures in the 100’s will give way to sensible August heat this week. Today will see sunshine with light southwest winds and highs in the mid to upper 90’s. Tomorrow could top out in the low to mid 90’s, while Wednesday looks to be seasonably warm with a high near 92. Thursday will continue in the low 90’s, followed by the 80’s and low 90’s for Friday and over the long Labor Day Weekend.

Regarding rainfall, as of this writing, a 20% to 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Thursday through Sunday.
