    Online graphics certificates

LCC’s Graphic Arts program is offering two new online certificates starting this summer semester. The certificates, Graphic & Digital Design and Digital Photo & Design, are created to equip students with the skills and knowledge in digital design, imaging technology, packaging, photography, social media marketing, UX/UI, as well as training in industry-leading Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

“Both certificates can be earned entirely online, offering students the freedom to learn on their own schedule,” says Graphics Program Chair Dwight Downie. “Students can start their journey as early as this summer with courses like Drawing Fundamentals and Technical Illustration. These classes will begin on May 20, with registration opening on March 25.”

For those seeking a comprehensive education, LCC also offers two graphics associate degrees: Graphic Design and Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology. Students often choose to double-major in both degree programs, earning two degrees in just two years, the college said.
