SEK Humane Society uniting community for volunteer day

PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) - The SEK Humane Society is calling on neighbors and friends to join hands for a day of meaningful volunteer work.

Scheduled for Saturday, April 13th from 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM, this event promises an afternoon of camaraderie and service at the society's location: 485 East 560th Ave, Pittsburg, KS 66762.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but those under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian during their time at the SEK Humane Society.

The day's agenda includes a variety of projects aimed at supporting the society's mission of caring for animals in need.

From assisting with animal care tasks to helping with facility maintenance, there will be tasks suited for everyone's abilities and interests.
