Autopsy report of body found in Moccasin Creek indicates foul play

BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. — The autopsy of a dead Mountain Home man whose body was found in Moccasin Creek indicates foul play was involved.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), Rickey Joe Millsap’s autopsy report indicated that foul play was involved in his death which is now proceeding as a homicide investigation.

BCSO has been actively investigating the death since Millsap’s body was discovered floating in Moccasin Creek on Aug. 15.

According to the press release from BCSO, Millsap had not been seen since Aug. 9 but had not been reported missing.

Due to the ongoing criminal investigation, additional details cannot be released at this time.
