10-year-old girl found after minutes of being reported missing in Haltom

The Haltom City Police Department put out a notice late Wednesday afternoon that a child went missing after finishing a school day. However that only lasted 10 minutes.

Willow was a 10-year-old girl who attends OH Stowe Elementary School. She was last seen on camera walking west on Mack St towards Haltom Rd when she disappeared.

After 10 minutes of posting the notice and asking neighbors to check their surroundings, Willow was reported to be found and safe.

She was safe with a friend around the school. The Haltom PD put a reminder to parents in their updated post to check in with their children and make sure they go directly home unless notified of changed plans.
