    Severe storm warnings expired for NE Kansas counties

    Update 8:29 p.m: The severe thunderstorm warning that was issued for Jackson County has now expired.

    Update 8:19 p.m.: The severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson County will continue until 8:30, according to the NWS. The severe thunderstorm warning expired for Jefferson County. The NWS issued a flood advisory for Jefferson County until 10:15 p.m.

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Several counties in northeast Kansas have been issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

    The National Weather Service (NWS) announced at 7:49 p.m. that Jefferson and Jackson County were issued severe thunderstorm warnings. These warnings come with possible winds of 60 miles per hour and one-inch hail. These warnings are in effect until 8:15 p.m.
