Man sentenced to six years for robbery of Airway Heights market

SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was sentenced to six years in federal prison on Thursday for one count of robbery affecting commerce, according to the Eastern District Attorney Office for Washington.

61-year-old Bryan Wokal robbed the Kalispel Market in Airway Heights at gunpoint on January 2, 2024.

According to court documents, Wokal entered the market and demanded $400 in cash.

Wokal left the market after the cashier handed over the money.

The Spokane Police Department was able to locate and arrest Wokal on January 3.
