    Coach: Tim Broe

2023 results: Fourth at the Three Rivers League district meet

2024 team: Senior Colin Manning (20th at the 2023 TRL district meet), senior Rylan Eftekhar (12th at district), senior Bryce Looney (37th at district), junior Chris Hyashi (21st at district), junior Logan Shi (35th at district), sophomore Keoni Padaca (42nd at district), sophomore Asher Tobin, junior Justin Connolly, sophomore Rowan Cook, junior Rohan Gore, junior Jack Henry Foster, junior Neil Vincent.

2024 outlook: Led by first-year head coach Tim Broe, the Lakers believe they have a shot at their first state-meet berth in two decades.

“The boys team has not been to the big dance in over two decades, (but) I expect the drought to end this year,” Broe said. “In order for us to make that happen, we will need to stack our top five in tight, as we do not have the luxury of a low stick.”

Team leaders: Seniors Colin Manning, Rylan Eftekhar and Bryce Looney are expected to use their speed and experience to great effect in 2024.

“All three share those common denominators that every good (cross country) runner possesses — strong work ethic, passion for the sport and the inclination to lift others up,” Broe said.

2024 TRL Contenders: Last year’s top three district finishers were Lakeridge, Oregon City and Tigard.
