Senior Spirit: Bronx Science Class of 2024 Seniors Showcase Their College Choices
During their senior year, Bronx Science students have one thing on their minds — where their future will lead. On College Commitment Day, seniors gathered to show off what college they committed to in the fall of 2024 by wearing their college merchandise. All across the school, you could see seniors proudly displaying their college choices. Many of them wore sweatshirts, shirts, or even dressed in their college’s merchandise from head to toe. While applying their sense of fashion, they showed their enthusiasm in embarking on a new journey in their life, starting this fall.
Foundation Honors 2024 Ben Farnan Scholarship Recipients
This past Tuesday evening, the Tribute and Honor Foundation proudly presented the 2024 Ben Farnan Scholarships to Glen Cove High School graduates Mark LaRocca and Ruben Martinez. These outstanding individuals, who have committed to serving their country by joining the military, were each honored with a $1,000 scholarship from the Foundation in acknowledgment of their commitment and patriotism. The award ceremony, emphasizing the importance of community and service, was a touching event attended by many dignitaries and community leaders.
