Greenwich Point One-Mile Swim Set for July 13
The 35th Annual One Mile Swim at Tod’s Point will be held on Saturday, July 13. The event is sponsored by The Greenwich Swim Committee and the YMCA of Greenwich. All proceeds from the One Mile Swim event will go toward supporting the YMCA of Greenwich’s Swim School Scholarship Fund, helping to provide swim school instruction and critical water safety skills to local children. Last year, the event raised $2,500 after all race expenses for the YMCA of Greenwich.

Greenwich Croquet Club Makes its Home in Bruce Park
Last weekend the Greenwich Croquet Club hosted the 34th Greenwich Invitational 6-Wicket Croquet Tournament on the club’s croquet courts in Bruce Park. The players, some are up for the summer from homes in Florida where the sport is popular, dressed in white, though club president Bill Miller joked that he was partial to his gray Crocs.
