For the second time this season, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will take on A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, and the Las Vegas Aces. The Fever are looking to extend their win streak to two games, while the Aces look to win their fifth consecutive game.

Before the game, ESPN announced that Clark had officially made the 2024 All-Star game. Clark will join Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese as the only two rookies in the All-Star game.

In a pregame press conference before the teams were revealed, Clark discussed the possibility of being named an All-Star, saying that it would be "cool."

"I think it would certainly be cool. I think, at the same time, I don't think you set out to achieve those things. I think it's very similar to everything I had in college. You should play the game, and you have fun. Those are the type of things that come along with it," Clark said.

In 20 games, Clark is averaging 16.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game, ranking in the top 20 among all WNBA players in each category.

Clark continued, "I think those types of things kind of take care of themselves as long as you go about your business in the right way every single day. But it would certainly be cool. I was a kid that grew up watching the All-Star game. But that's not my main focus. Whatever happens, happens, and it is what it is."

Clark, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star, has led the Fever to an 8-12 record to start the 2024 WNBA season, a significant improvement to where Indiana was at this time in the 2023 season.
