ALEXANDRIA, Va. (7News) — A construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle at a construction site Wednesday, according to the Alexandria Police Department (APD). On July 24 around 7:32 a.m., APD was called to a construction site in the 5700 block of Duke Street for a report of an injured person.
Woman dies in multi-vehicle crash that closed portion of Indian Head Highway
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — A woman is dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Fort Washington Friday evening. According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers were called to the area of Fort Washington Road and Indian Head Highway around 6:15 p.m. for reports of a crash involving four cars.

Man found guilty of a string of violent robberies sentenced to over 10 years in prison
WASHINGTON — A judge has sentenced a D.C. man to more than 10 years in prison for a string of robberies across the District. On Friday, Stephon Lee was sentenced to 129 months in prison, following his guilty plea on April 19. Lee pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, one count of attempted armed robbery, and one count of second-degree theft.
