The Los Angeles Dodgers secured another win on Monday in their series opener at the Chicago White Sox, 3-0. With the win, the Dodgers have managed to keep a particular streak alive — one that no other MLB team has pulled off in at least the last 124 years.

The Dodgers have extended their undefeated streak when Miguel Rojas gets at least one hit to 23 games, per Sarah Langs of MLB.com. It is the longest such streak to start a season in the history of the big leagues—or at least since 1900.

Rojas had a solid night against the White Sox, as he went 2-for-4 with a run scored. He had a single in the fourth inning and a double in the seventh frame. Rojas made contact in his two other at-bats, but grounded out on both occasions.

Will Rojas be able to get another hit Tuesday when the Dodgers and the White Sox play the second leg of the series? For what it’s worth, Rojas is 1-for-3 with zero strikeouts in his career against projected Chicago starter Chris Flexen.

On the season, Rojas is slashing .284/.324/.440 with three home runs and 15 RBIs.

Another thing about Rojas is that he’s been making good contact with the ball this season, as he entered the White Sox series with a .292 BABIP—his best since posting a .295 BABIP with the Miami Marlins in 2021.
