LYONS VILLAGE COUNCIL: MCS Manufacturing Closing; Funding For Village Discussed
MCS Manufacturing … The company located on County Road 10-3 will soon close its doors as announced at the Lyons Village Council Meeting. The Lyons Village Council held their meeting on Monday, July 1st. The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance, before members moved on to discuss the following items.
1 killed, 3 injured in Fulton County crash
LYONS, Ohio — An Adrian man was killed and three other people injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Fulton County. According to the Toledo post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Richard Kinnick, 74, was driving south on State Rt. 109 when he failed to stop for the stop sign at U.S. 20 and was struck by a westbound vehicle that was being driven by John Garrow, 68, of Waldron, Mich. Mr. Kinnick was not wearing his seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Kinnick’s passenger, Laura Berger, 71, of Sarasota, Fla., was transported to ProMedica Toledo Hospital with serious injuries. Ms. Berger was wearing her seat belt. Mr. Garrow and his passenger, Laura Garrow, 66, also of Waldron, Mich., suffered minor injuries. They were both transported to the Fulton County Health Center for treatment.
