Miller named Women’s Basketball Head Coach at Adrian College
Adrian College Athletic Director, Craig Rainey, announced the hiring of Sam Miller as head coach of the Adrian College women’s basketball team. Miller returns to Adrian College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing in 2010. Anthony Wayne boys finish in tie for sixth at PGA National Invitational
FRISCO, Texas — Anthony Wayne boys golf finished a solid performance at the PGA National Invitational on Wednesday, coming in tied for sixth out of 50 teams with a final team score of an 8-over 872. The Generals shot a 299 in the third and final round, dropping from a fourth-place tie through two rounds. Alpharetta Rivers Academy of Georgia won the title with a 12-under 852, seven strokes better than the runner-up. AW finished level with Tennessee’s Ensworth High School, which shot a 289 on Wednesday to climb into the tie for sixth. Logan Sutto was Anthony Wayne’s best individual Wednesday with a 68, and he led the Generals for the tournament with a 207, tying him for third on the individual leaderboard. Sutto was five strokes behind individual champion Josiah Hakala of Mascenic Regional High School in New Hampshire.
