Five-star tight end Linkon Cure announced his commitment to Kansas State on Monday. The 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end committed to the Wildcats over Oregon, Texas A&M, and Kansas.

Cure is the No. 27 overall prospect and No. 2 tight end in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 1 tight end and No. 2 player in Kansas, according to the On3 industry rankings .

He earned Kansas 3A All-State honors in 2023 after recording 42 receptions for 946 receiving yards and 14 receiving touchdowns. His brother, Leyton, is a tight end for the Wildcats after starting his career at Fort Hays State.

Cure made history as he became the first five-star in the modern recruiting era to commit to Kansas State.

Following Cure's commitment, Kansas State's 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 49 nationally and No. 8 in the Big 12. He is the fourth in-state commitment for the Wildcats, joining offensive lineman Brock Heath, cornerback Martel Jackson, and linebacker Maguire Richman.
