MANHATTAN, Kan. ( KSNT ) – Former K-State offensive lineman Hayden Gillum has the opportunity to extend his professional career.

Gillum was taken with the second pick in the fifth round (No. 34 overall) of the 2024 UFL College Draft.

Son of Bill Snyder leaving KU for fellow Big 12 school

The former Wildcat had previously accepted an invite to the Chicago Bears’ rookie minicamp.

Gillum started as a walk-on in Manhattan but finished as a team captain as a senior. He lined up as the starting center in all 27 games in his final two seasons.

The UFL College Draft was open to players who were eligible but not selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.
