Sentencing Scheduled for Former Piscataway Wrestling Coach
MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ -- Sentencing of John Denuto, a former special education teacher at Sayreville Middle School and former wrestling coach at Piscataway High School and numerous other schools and organizations, is scheduled for this week. Denuto, 46, of Spotswood pleaded guilty to Endangering the Welfare of a Child and other offenses on April 14, 2023. Denuto was originally scheduled to be sentenced by the Honorable Benjamin S. CRANFORD, NJ – Cranford Recreation and Parks were pleased at the turnout at the Cranford Canoe Club. “The Canoe Races on the 4th of July is one of Cranford’s best and oldest traditions,” said Steve Robertazzi, director of the department. “The day never seems to disappoint! Rutgers football has been on a roll in the 2025 recruitment class and they just added to the streak. Yesterday, four-star Linebacker out of the Hun school in New Jersey Kamar Archie committed to play for the Scarlet Knights. BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Jr. Highlanders have secured another state championship, this time for their 11U team. On June 23, the boys clinched their fourth consecutive District 12 Tournament title by defeating Cranford 4-1 in the final. Following their district win, the Jr. Highlanders competed in the Northern NJ State Tournament at Mountain View Park in Hillsborough. ROSELLE PARK, NJ — Plans to construct a statue of basketball icon Rick Barry have rimmed out. Mayor and Council were hoping to immortalize the Roselle Park legend, but ultimately, the financial demands of the task were deemed too excessive.
