The Greater Salisbury Committee improvements initiative set for 2030
The GSC 2030 report is an attempt by the Greater Salisbury Committee to take a critical look at the community and make sure they can provide improvements by the year 2030. Members of the community presented themselves in a roundtable format, members would bring forth ideas and suggestions to incite change in the next few years. Over 52 distinct topics fell into several different categories, such as economic development, education, and public safety. The GSC’s mission is to identify our region’s challenges and bring forth solutions. Among them, are housing, quality of life, Fire EMS, and childcare.

Cambridge City Council directs legal counsel on CWDI-related agreements
CAMBRIDGE — Following a closed meeting Thursday, the Cambridge City Council voted to direct the city’s special legal counsel to complete a property transfer agreement for land on Cambridge Harbor and to finalize the drafting of a non-disclosure agreement with Cambridge Waterfront Development Inc., the group spearheading the Cambridge Harbor project. DelDOT holds public workshop on plans for Old Furnace Road bridge, intersection
A large crowd was in attendance at Monday night’s DelDOT public workshop at the Seaford Middle School. The purpose of the meeting was to provide information and get feedback from the public on the potential replacement of the Old Furnace Road bridge and the installation of a traffic light or compact roundabout (circle) at the intersection of Old Furnace Road and Middleford Road outside of Seaford.
