I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Chef Rockville, nestled in the heart of Rockville Town Center. The restaurant's unique interior decoration caught my eye immediately, with bird cages whimsically hanging from the ceiling. I was particularly taken with their Thai milk tea and the mango sticky rice, though I found some of their other dishes a tad too sweet for my palate.
The service was top-notch, with attentive and helpful waitstaff. I tried the Green Curry and the Crab Rangoons appetizer, both of which were good, though the curry could have used a bit more flavor. The Purple Rain drink, a recommendation from previous reviews, was a delightful addition to my meal.
The restaurant also offers good outdoor seating with plenty of space between tables, making it a comfortable spot for a meal. I was also impressed with their new dish, a shrimp and fried rice combo that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The fried rice had a toasty flavor, indicating the use of leftover rice, which I personally find more flavorful. I rounded off my meal with the mango sticky rice, a must-try if you're visiting. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out Thai Chef Rockville.
