Experience the Delightful Desserts at Kyoto Matcha DMV

Hey fellow foodies! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kyoto Matcha DMV, a spot that I'd confidently rank as top-notch, even by New York standards. The Towel Roll, Lava Cake, Mille Crepe Cake, and Roll Cake come highly recommended and they did not disappoint!

I initially went in for the Japanese cheesecake but ended up trying the chocolate crepe layered cake instead. It was light, not too sweet, and the little crisp balls of chocolate and chocolate drizzle paired perfectly with it. The presentation was simply stunning, making it a great place to celebrate special occasions.

For those of you who are matcha lovers like me, this place is a must-visit. The crepe cakes and the towel cakes are to die for. However, if you're expecting the traditional Japanese tea ceremony matcha, it might be a bit different. The matcha latte is typical but still enjoyable. The soft serve and drinks might not have a strong matcha flavor, but the matcha crepe cake and cap cakes make up for it. They are quite sweet with a hint of matcha flavor, definitely better than the drinks and soft serve.

So, if you're missing Japan or just craving some good matcha desserts, Kyoto Matcha DMV is the place to be. Just remember, the drive is worth it for these matcha treats!
