For the first years, LEAF functioned primarily as a human services safety net, providing short-term help for people who needed it.

A search on Craigslist.org, a more common place in today’s world to find a place to rent, listed only four places available for rent in Estes Park, ranging in price from $1,200 to $3,500 a month. And Estes Park News included only two listings in their online classifieds, advertised at $1,200 per month and $3,400 per month.
