The verified X (formerly Twitter) account for Canadian pop diva Celine Dion ripped former President Donald Trump on Saturday after his campaign played a video of her performing her 1997 hit My Heart Will Go On Friday night in Montana.

Before Trump took to the stage in Bozeman to campaign for GOP Senate candidate Tim Sheehy , clips of a live performance of Dion singing a live rendition of the ballad went viral online after it was played on the big screen.

Many who viewed the clips connected the song – which was featured in the Oscar-winning film Titanic – to the Trump campaign’s struggles in recent weeks.

Saturday afternoon, Dion officially weighed in and said the use of the song was not authorized and swiping at the former president and 2024 Republican Party nominee for using it.

Neither Trump nor anyone affiliated with his campaign had responded to Dion as of the time of publication.
