    Corinth Police Department Issues Active Shooter Alert

    The police in Corinth have issued an active shooter alert on their Facebook page and warns people to stay out of the North Parkway area located in Corinth.

    The Corinth Police Department Facebook page post reads as follows:

    Corinth police department is actively working an active shooter incident at 601 N Parkway. Stay out of the area! We will update as soon as new information is available.

    According to one commenter on the post, this is the third warning of an active shooter just this week in Corinth.

    Per the Corinth Police Department, there will be more updates posted as they become available and we will update here, as well.

    Update:

    According to the Corinth Police Department, the shooter has left the area on foot. They requesting all citizens in the area to move indoors and lock doors. Call the Corinth Police Department with any suspicious persons in the area.

    The suspect's name is Antonious Bean.

    Update: The Corinth Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

    "After speaking with witnesses, it has been determined this was an isolated incident. One person was grazed by a bullet but no other injuries have been reported at this time. ANTONIUS BEAN is still NOT in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call the Corinth Police Department at 662-286-3377. If anyone sees BEAN call 911 immediately and do not approach!"
