A four-month-old baby tragically died from heat-related complications after her parents took her on a boating trip in Arizona during the Fourth of July weekend, during a heat advisory .

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office reported that while the family was out on Lake Havasu, the infant lost consciousness around 5.10pm on Friday. Emergency services rushed the baby to Havasu Regional Medical Center before she was airlifted to Phoenix Children's Hospital. Sadly, the child passed away shortly after, according to the sheriff's office.

According to AccuWeather, the region experienced record-breaking temperatures , with highs reaching up to 120 degrees. An excessive heat warning had been issued.

A GoFundMe page identified the baby as Tanna Rae Wroblewski, aged four months. "We are beyond devastated, heartbroken; there are just no words," read the heartfelt message on the GoFundMe page. "Our precious baby girl gave us her last smiles and we gave her our last kisses. We will never understand why you had to leave so soon, you were just too perfect."

The mother also posted a bereaved status on her Facebook: "These are the last photos I took of you before you left us. Your smile radiated joy. I always said she is my ANGEL she is my PEACE. I never thought there would be a day in my life without you. You made our family whole. You would’ve been 4 months old today."

She continued: "Explaining your loss to your sister has been tough. We don’t understand why you had to leave, how could she? She’s left out toys for you and made sure your favorites were all in the bassinet before bed the last couple nights. We are so heartbroken without you baby girl. There are just no words. We love you and would give anything to have you here with us. We love you forever Tanny."

Even worse for the parents, others lambasted the couple in their comments section. "100% the parents fault!! Idc what anyone says they should be held accountable for their actions as horrible parents," wrote one user.

"You shouldn’t be having children if you’re not responsible enough to know that extreme heat is deadly for both infants and adults. This was not some freak incident and could have easily been prevented. You deserve to be prosecuted for this," wrote another, receiving over 100 likes.

Sadly, that wasn't the only family tragedy in the U.S. on July 4. A man tragically and accidentally smashed into another boat , causing his sister-in-law, who had just given birth, to fall into the water and disappear before he and a friend were arrested for 'boating under the influence.'

Jerri MacMeekin was found hours later, floating up in a Texas river, hours after a nighttime boating party turned deadly, and the woman's brother-in-law and his friend were arrested for 'boating while intoxicated .' Her brother-in-law, Kyle Dean MacMeekin, 29, and his friend, Shane Everett Anniboli, 44, were arrested and charged after her body was found.

They've both posted bail. The two of them also reportedly jumped into the water to look for her, but they couldn't find her.

After "several long hours" of search, Jerri MacMeekin's body was finally found and pulled at 11.30 p.m. by a team of rescue and recovery divers. She was declared dead at the scene. She was married to Brandon MacMeekin, 32, just a few years ago, in January 2021, and recently gave birth to a baby girl.
