    Absentee voting opens for primary

    Eligible Wright County voters are now able to begin casting their ballots for the 2024 State Primary Election. The 46-day voting period opened June 28.

    If you are registered to vote in Monticello, visit city hall to cast an in-person absentee ballot.

    Voters may also request an absentee ballot by contacting Wright County Elections directly or by completing the online request form at mnvotes.org.

    Voters are also able to visit the Wright County Government Center where they can cast an in-person absentee ballot.

    Visit the Finance & Taxpayer Services counter on the first floor of the Wright County Government Center to cast your in-person absentee ballot.

    To request an absentee ballot to vote by mail, visit the Secretary of State’s online absentee ballot application page. Download a paper copy and email to elections@co.wright.mn.us or mail completed paper application to: Finance and Taxpayer Services – Elections, Suite 1400, 3650 Braddock Ave. NE, Buffalo, MN 55313.
