ROAD CLOSURE: LA 849 in Caldwell Parish to experience closure on Tuesday, August 20th

UPDATE (8/20/2024) — According to DOTD, LA 849 in Caldwell Parish is now open to vehicular traffic.

CALDWELL PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD) — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises drivers that on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., a road closure will happen on LA 849, located approximately 4.3 miles east of US 165 in Caldwell Parish, for crews to replace a cross drain.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds drivers to drive cautiously through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. The detour route will be south on US 165 to LA 126.
