New Hampton Can Feed More Kids Free Summer Meals
While participation in the Summer Meals program through the New Hampton School District has been strong, there’s room for more kids to be served by the free program. Director of Food Service Jodi Cerwinske says over 330 children have signed up to pick up meals, but there’s no limit on the number of kids they will feed. The program is open to any child in Chickasaw County and/or surrounding areas.

OMAHA, Neb. — As of Saturday morning, the Missouri River is expected to crest Saturday afternoon in the Omaha area after runoff frommultiple days of heavy rain upstream. The National Weather Service said moderate to near major flood stages are expected along the Missouri River from Blair to Rulo this week, "rivaling stages that were last experienced in 2019."
