NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 45-year-old woman has been taken into custody after she and her son allegedly beat her father and robbed him at his residence in South Nashville.

Metro police reported the assault happened on May 27 at an apartment on Lester Avenue.

Human remains found in Nissan Stadium parking lot

According to court documents, the victim told officers his daughter, Johnnita Easley, and her son came to his apartment to hang out. After Easley and her son became aware the victim had $200 in cash, Easley reportedly held her father down and hit him in the face and head.

Easley took the victim’s money as her son held a knife to his throat and demanded the cash, according to Metro police. The victim told officers Easley also hit him in the head repeatedly with a can of corn while his grandson held the knife to his throat.
