    COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — As fall arrives, central Ohio is celebrating the season with festivals, Halloween events and more.

    Columbus Zoo Lantern Festival : Through Sept. 29
    A family-friendly featuring over 70 sets of colorful LED animal lanterns that showcase wildlife scenes from around the globe. Takes place Thursdays through Sundays.

    Ohio Renaissance Festival: Through Oct. 27
    This 16th-century village comes to life with live entertainment, food, shops and more.

    Hofbräuhaus Columbus Oktoberfest Celebration: Sept. 5-29

    Lynd Fruit Farm Fall Fest and “Secrets of Ohio” Corn Maze: Sept. 6-Oct. 27
    Explore Ohio’s history and folklore at this year’s eight-acre corn maze featuring landmarks like Neil Armstrong on the Moon and the Serpent Mound. A one-acre Mastodon Maze offers a shorter adventure with life-size prehistoric replicas. Enjoy wagon rides, apple cannons, games, live music and more.
