The Living a Healthy Life workshops teach those any chronic illness how to handle symptoms that arrise with those illnesses. Research has shown that different illnesses have similar syptoms, therefore the management of those symptoms are similar. Anyone with arithritis, heart disease, depression, asthma and COPD, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses, as well as caregivers, are welcome to attend. Last year, the Kansas City Police Department’s Shotspotter recorded 193 rounds of gunfire between 6 p.m. on July 3 and 6 a.m. on July 5.
