    Neosho’s Carleigh Kinnaird Earns Softball Player of the Year Honors

    SPRINGFIELD, MO — Neosho’s Carleigh Kinnaird was named the Softball Player of the Year for Southwest Missouri by the Springfield Sports Commission.

    Kinnaird had a great junior season earning COC Player of the Year and also earned 2nd Team All-State Honors.

    She was pivotal piece in helping Neosho claim their first ever COC crown outright for the first time in school history and helped lead her team to a 26-7 record.

    On the year, Kinnaird had 192 strikeouts to go with 5 home-runs and 37 RBI’s.

    She is set to play softball at the next level as she is committed to continue her softball career at the University of Central Oklahoma.
