    Baby girl dies after being found in scorching car in New Jersey on one of the hottest days of the year

    A baby girl has been found dead inside a parked car during one of summer's hottest days . The tragedy unfolded when cops were alerted to a child in a parked car near South Ridgedale Avenue and Route 10 in New Jersey .

    The six-month-old was discovered in the vehicle at 1.30pm on Wednesday. She received immediate medical attention from paramedics at the scene and was rushed to hospital where she sadly passed away.

    The child's mother also taken to a hospital for treatment . The circumstances leading up to the discovery of the baby in the car remain unclear. Initial investigations suggest that the child had been left alone in the car before her death.

    It is yet to be determined how long she had been in the vehicle . The cause and manner of the infant's death are still under investigation.

    This heart-breaking event followers a series of similar incidents across New York , New Jersey, and other parts of the country during the week where four consecutive days of high temperatures reaching the low to mid 90s.

    Last week, a baby died after being left inside a roasting hot car in New Jersey . The eight-week-old baby girl passed away after being left inside a vehicle in Lakewood Township, Ocean County, New Jersey on Monday, July 15.

    Avraham Chaitovsky was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child in relation to the two-month-old's death . The 28-year-old from Jackson Township is reportedly the child's father.

    In May, a six year old child died after being left in a car for hours in blistering heat, with the boyfriend of her mother now facing accusations . Markise L. Outing, 24, rushed the young girl to the Southern Manatee Fire Department in Bradenton, Florida , around 5:17pm on Monday, May 20, seeking urgent medical help.

    The child was sadly pronounced dead at 8:16pm later that same day. Paramedics discovered the girl unconscious , not breathing and potentially in cardiac arrest , they immediately attempted life-saving measures before rushing her to a local hospital for advanced care. MCSO stated that medical staff recorded a body temperature of 107.2 degrees.
