The social media games that NBA players are prone to playing during the offseason have fully commenced.

Aside from their craft on the court, NBA stars for years have specialized in cryptic posts that generate nothing but rumors about trades or free agency moves. NBA fans saw a prime example of this on Wednesday as the beginning of the day saw reports indicating that the Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant could be on the move. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that following the Rockets' landing of the Suns' future NBA Draft picks, Houston can now make a move for Durant and give Phoenix their picks back in the process.

The unexpected "Woj Bomb" caught the attention of NBA fans all over, and a social media post by James Harden only added to it.

Harden was among a handful of stars welcomed by new USC head coach Eric Musselman to work out at the team's facilities, as a report by the Orange County Register touched on the fact Musselman is looking to draw stars to be around the program to create more buzz. Joining Harden on Wednesday was young Oklahoma City Thunder star Chet Holmgren, and his former teammate Kevin Durant.

The report revealed that the three worked on floaters with assistant Will Conroy, and while they got some valuable work, they also generated chatter. Harden took to Instagram to commemorate the workout, which has led to fan speculation.

On Harden's Instagram post, many fans are speculating that the two could be Houston-bound for what would be their third time teaming up with one fan writing "Yall bouta be H town stepping huh?" while another added , "Holy sh** they both going to Houston".

While many thought that Harden's chapter in Houston was completely closed, reports indicated that prior to his landing with the Clippers he was interested in a return, but new head coach Ime Udoka shut down the idea per ESPN .

The two stars may be interested in running it back one more time, or they very well could have just been getting some work in and we are all overthinking this. Both Harden's Clippers and Durant's Suns squads were bounced in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs this season.
