One Team Described As ‘Cheat Code’ In EA Sports College Football 25

The upcoming EA Sports College Football 25 video game received considerable attention after more information was released Friday.

The 25 overall best teams were announced. The top five teams based on overall rating were the Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks, Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas Longhorns.

In a post on Saturday via X, PFF College dubbed Georgia a "cheat code" in the game. When the game launches, the Bulldogs will have a 95 overall rating, with a 94 overall offense and defense.

Carson Beck should be one of the game's highest-rated players. The Bulldogs are also bringing in former Florida Gators running back Trevor Etienne.

There's also plenty for fans to be excited about defensively. Players like linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. and defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse could be entertaining to use.

The Bulldogs have the top overall and offensive rating in the game. Upon release, Georgia will also have the second-best defense.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released on July 19. Fans who purchase the game's Deluxe Edition can play it early on July 16.
