    More than $2,500 worth of fireworks stolen from South Carolina fireworks stand

    SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – More than $2,500 worth of fireworks were stolen from a fireworks stand Saturday morning in Spartanburg County.

    According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to 1759 Union Street for a burglary.

    Once deputies arrived at the scene, they spoke with the complaint who drove by his firework stand around 11 a.m. and saw a silver truck by the stand and a man inside the stand.

    He told deputies he thought it was his boss because he was supposed to bring more fireworks to the stand.

    However, around 2 p.m. he found out that the trailer had been broken into and following fireworks were taken:

    • V.I.P fireworks valued at $279.99
    • Sweet liberty firework valued at $60.00
    • Fancy Freedom firework valued at $259.99
    • Five Dirty Dozen firework valued at $89.99 each.
    • Nine Festival Balls fireworks valued at $39.99 each.
    • Three High plains blaster valued at 89.99 each.
    • Three Tiquila shots valued at $89.99 each.
    • Four After midnight fireworks valued at $89.99 each.
    • ThreeBullet bombs fireworks valued at $89.99. Total value
    • Five Venom Shot fireworks valued at $17.99 each. Total value

    The amount of fireworks stolen was $2,669.66.

    According to the incident report, the suspect vehicle is a silver/gray Toyota Tundra pulling an open black trailer.
