Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson officially secured another historical WNBA record against the Washington Mystics on Sunday.

In the 89-77 victory, the two-time MVP became the first player in league history to record three straight games with 20 or more points and 15 or more rebounds, per StatMamba. During the win over Washington, Wilson posted 28 points and 17 rebounds in 36 minutes of game action.

The 6-foot-5 center hasn't just attained the WNBA record for a high usage percentage. She played at an extremely efficient level, shooting 63.2% from the field against the Mystics.

Wilson has been on an incredible tear throughout the season, as she's leading the league in points per game with 27.1 and an impressive 52.2 field goal percentage. She's also No. 2 in the rebounding category, averaging 11.6 boards a game behind rookie Angel Reese.

With the victory over Washington, Wilson helped the Aces secure the No. 1 seed in the WNBA Western Conference standings. They advanced to 16-7 on the season, riding a four-game win streak.

The back-to-back defending WNBA champions are still 3.5 games behind the New York Liberty, who have the best record in the WNBA at 20-4.

As Wilson continues to prove she's one of the best players in the league, showing her versatility in production with points and rebounds, she's also solidifying her case to earn her third WNBA MVP award in 2024.
