Caitlin Clark Used One Word To Describe Her Relationship With Cameron Brink

Caitlin Clark and Cameron Brink will forever be connected throughout their WNBA careers. Clark was taken with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, while the Los Angeles Sparsk selected Brink right after.

At the WNBA All-Star Weekend, Clark was asked which rookie she would take as her teammate in a 2-on-2 scenario. Clark didn't hesitate to choose Brink and used one word to describe their relationship: "Homie."

"I'm taking Cameron Brink. She's so versatile. That's like my homie too, so definitely her," Clark said.

"Homie" is a slang term for a good friend, and they have been just that since they were teenagers on Team USA's U19 World Cup squad in 2019.

So far, both players have had different paths during their rookie seasons. Clark was named a WNBA All-Star and arguably has the most attention in the league, from social media to ticket sales.

Brink, on the other hand, got off to a great start to her professional career but suffered a season-ending ACL tear in her 15th WNBA game.

Clark and Brink never faced each other in college, but in two head-to-head matchups in the WNBA, their respective teams had one win each.
