West Salem stays unbeaten in blowout victory over Tomah

The Panthers defense held an opponent under 10 points for the second straight week as they improve to 2-0.

While the Timberwolves had a few chances to stop this one from getting out of hand, West Salem took advantage of Tomah miscues in their 42-6 win.

Seniors Luke Baginski and Trevor Arentz scored two touchdowns in the first half to make it 14-0 as the players regrouped at half.

Then West Salem went on a 28-6 run in the second half to put this one out of reach.

Drew McConkey threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns also rushing for 76 yards and Baginski finished with 144 yards on the ground and two scores.

Panthers take on Viroqua on the road next week while Tomah will look for their first win at Baraboo.
