BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man is facing a murder charge following an alleged ‘domestic incident’ early Wednesday morning, according to police.

Officers responded to the 400 block of 22nd Street around 2:45 a.m., where police said they found 63-year-old Edward Parmer outside the home and an unresponsive female on the floor inside the residence. First aid was administered to the woman but she was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Parmer was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He will be arraigned later Wednesday. Police are not yet releasing the woman’s name.

The alleged incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Niagara Falls police at (716) 286-4711.
